Bachelor of Science
The Department of Physical Sciences, in conjunction with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Department of Biological Sciences also offers an interdisciplinary major in Environmental Science. This degree program prepares graduates to solve complex and extensive environmental problems using the process of scientific investigation while considering the needs of society. Students should be able to apply their broad – based understanding of science to improve the quality of life for humans and other living things by addressing concerns of people about the use of the planet’s resources.

Note 1: For students planning to attend a graduate school, the following courses are highly recommended:

Note 2: Seventeen hours of upper level courses, in addition to the core, must be taken to meet graduation requirements. The major–minor program is just one component of a baccalaureate degree.
