The department offers for all students majoring in Biological Sciences an option for an interdisciplinary minor:
- CHEM 1315 General Chemistry I
- CHEM 1415 General Chemistry II
- PHYS 1114 General Physics I
- PHYS 1214 General Physics II
- Six hours of upper – division chemistry, mathematics, physics, or physical science courses
