Based on your requests, Ceramics class is longer! Now you will have more time to create larger and detail oriented products. If you have taken the class before, this is an opportunity to continue to improve and practice your skills. Or this is a great opportunity for beginners as well.

Participants will be getting hands-on experience using clay. In addition to creating various art projects, working with clay has been known to be a stress-reliever. You will be learning various hand building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, slab work and and introduction to throwing. Your hands will get dirty in this class! Robert Ostman, a graduate of SOSU and Art Teacher at Madill Elementary, has returned to spend some quality time with you as you learn more about clay.

Supplies required: Clay will be available, 25lbs, for $12 from the Visual Arts & Ceramics Organization at the first class meeting.
