The First Annual Behavioral Sciences Scholarship Workshop

(An Educational and Affordable Continuing Education Opportunity)

Description: This workshop for mental health professionals is being provided not only to meet the continuing education needs of mental health professionals in the community, but also as a fundraiser for student scholarships. The faculty and student presenters will be donating their time as part of the fundraiser.

Workshop Presenters:

Dr. Daniel Weigel is an Assistant Professor at SOSU. Dr. Weigel received his Ph.D. at Idaho State University.

Dr. Wayne Dixon is an Associate Professor at SOSU. Dr. Dixon received his Ph.D. at University of Missouri-Columbia.

Mr. Jesse Pacheco received his BA degree at SOSU in May 2003 and is a graduate counseling psychology student.

Ms. Karri Hickman is a senior psychology major at SOSU.

Mr. John Williams is an Assistant Professor at SOSU. Mr. Williams is ABD at Texas A & M University-Commerce.

Dr. Ed Mauzey is an Associate Professor at SOSU and the Director of Teacher Education. Dr. Mauzey received his Ed.D. at Texas A & M University-Commerce.
