Two Tenure–Track Assistant Professor Positions in Psychology

The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Department of Behavioral Sciences invites applications for two tenure–track assistant professor positions in Psychology. Candidates are expected to have an earned doctorate in psychology or counseling. ABD candidates with a reasonable expectation of degree completion by August 15, 2008, will be considered. We are especially interested in candidates with active research agendas, commitment to high quality teaching, and dedication to service to the department, university, profession and the community. For both positions, we are interested in candidates with a background in the area of psychological research or statistics. Successful candidates will also possess the ability to teach a variety of general psychology courses.

Founded in 1909, Southeastern Oklahoma State University enrolls approximately 4,500 students in 44 undergraduate and 6 graduate degree programs. The campus is located in Durant, Oklahoma, 80 miles north of Dallas, Texas, and 150 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position may begin in either January or August of 2008.
