There were cases of the VP denying the promotions after the committee recommended promotion. It appears as if the criteria has changed for the VP. In regards to the letter asking for how to reinforce the deadline, the Senate did not feel that it was the Senate’s responsibility to come up with a policy. The Senate felt that the September 15 deadline would probably fix the problem of late ones. Brett will draft a response and send it to the Senate by email.
