I am a sophomore from Lindsay, Oklahoma double majoring in English and
Communication. I am very involved in the Honors Program where I work and hold
the position of Secretary in the Honors Advisory Council.
I am also involved in Sigma Tau
Delta (English Honor Society)
and the Math Club.

I came to
Southeastern because of its very
inviting atmosphere, and I like the
friendliness and small class size.
The location also factored into
my decision because, I don't know if
other people know this, but there is
a lake less than 15 minutes away.
One of my favorite things
about SOSU is how well I have gotten
to know my administrators,
professors, and the Southeastern
Faculty. They recognize me on the
street and know my name. I know if I
have difficulties with assignments,
schedules, my degree plan, or class
in general; I can email, visit, or
call and get the help I need.

I'm glad to be a
student on the campus of a community
that is one of the fastest growing
in Oklahoma, and where the campus is
undertaking almost as many projects
as the community is.
The faculty is
understanding and personable,
classes get students involved in
interesting group discussions and in
my experience, all of my peers have
been extremely friendly.
Why wouldn't I
recommend Southeastern to others? |
