Contracts

With an Honors contract, a student may obtain Honors credit by making arrangements with an instructor to add an Honors element to a non-Honors course.  To obtain an Honors contract, follow these simple steps:

  1. Check with your instructor to ensure that they are willing to allow you to do an Honors contract for their course.
  2. Pick up a contract form at the Honors office. (UC 221)
  3. Fill out the contract form and have your instructor sign it.
  4. Supply specific contract details, attaching an additional page to the form if necessary
  5. Bring the form to the Honors office for Dr. Coleman"s signature.
  6. Fill out an arranged course form and official registration form.
  7. Return all three forms (contract, arranged course, and registration) to the Honors Program Secretary in UC 221.
