Advisement for Criminal Justices Majors
Students who are criminal justice majors should plan to meet with an advisor from the program the afternoon of October 23. Contact Bruce King (bking@se.edu or ext. 5230) to schedule an appointment between 1-4:30.
Bryant, Potts Awarded Bagwell Scholarship
Cody Bryant of Idabel and Charlee Potts of Haworth have been awarded the Tom and Betty Bagwell Scholarships.
The students will each receive a $1,000 savings bond and are encouraged to study mathematics, science, and English for six credit hours.
Bagwell said, “This scholarship is not a contribution, but an investment in the youth of McCurtain County.”
Bryant is the son of Alan and Cindy Bryant of Idabel. He dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon and has the excellence in education during his past 11 years to support his ambition. He was chosen to attend the American Legion Boys State this year, where he served admirably. He is currently a Red Cross-certified lifeguard at the Idabel Country Club swimming pool.
Potts is the daughter of Charles and Gina Potts of Haworth. She has delivered an outstanding 11 years in her school and community. She plans to study in preparation for dental school and is now serving as a summer intern for Dr. Gary Dennington, DDS, of Idabel.
