Southeastern Voted “Best Texoma University” by Online Poll

The survey says that Southeastern Oklahoma State University is the “Best Texoma College or University.”

That announcement was made Wednesday night on a “Viewer’s Choice” segment during KTEN-TV’s 10 p.m. newscast. The Viewers Choice” awards is an on-line poll where viewers log on to KTEN.com and vote for the best Texoma has to offer. The category was 2005 Summer Businesses and the question was: “What is the Best Texoma College or Business?” Earlier in the week, KTEN news anchor Ed Myrick visited the SOSU campus to conduct interviews with University President Dr. Glen D. Johnson and a number of students. These interviews were aired during Wednesday night’s segment.

Earlier this year, the Durant Daily Democrat’s Readers’ Choice poll voted SOSU as the “Best University” and “Best Place to Work.”
