Homecoming Tickets Now on Sale
Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Homecoming 2006 is less than two weeks away.
Tickets for individual events are now available at the Alumni Association office in the Welcome Center on the SOSU campus. Alumni Coordinator Nichole Erwin said, “Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure we can accommodate everyone who wants to participate in the Homecoming activities.”

Events on Friday, Oct. 13, include the Whang Bang Golf Tournament at Silverado Golf Course, and the Gold and Blue scholarship fundraiser auction, dinner and dancing at Bella Vista on the boulevard.
Saturday’s highlights include the Former Athletes’ Breakfast, Homecoming Luncheon and the Southeastern-Southwestern football game.
Friday, Oct. 13
- Whang Bang Golf Tournament—registration 8:30 a.m., shotgun start 9:30; limited to the first 144 players; the tournament will be held at Silverado Golf Course; registration is $80 per player
- Gold and Blue—7:30 p.m.; features dining and dancing; live and silent auctions; tickets are priced at $50 each; graduates from 1996-2006 receive a special ticket price of $25 each
Saturday, Oct. 14
- Former Athletes’ Breakfast—8 a.m.; Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium lobby; tickets are priced at $5 each
- Homecoming Luncheon—11:15 a.m.; old Student Union Ballroom; tickets are priced at $15 each
- Football Game—2:30 p.m.; Paul Laird Field; Tickets are priced at $8 each; SOSU Alumni members $6 each
