Ruso To Re-advertise Southeastern Presidency Position

The process of selecting a new president at Southeastern Oklahoma State University continues with the announcement that the Regional University System of Oklahoma (RUSO) Board of Regents will begin to re-advertise the position this summer.

The advertisement will be placed June 1 and the deadline for applications will be extended to Aug. 31, 2007, in an effort to attract additional highly qualified candidates for the position.

The regents also had recent discussions with consultants who specialize in recruiting higher education CEOs. After receiving input from the consultants, the Board opted not to employ a consultant to assist with the renewed search.
