High School Concurrent Admission Requirements
A student that is still enrolled in high school, meets the performance requirements for new freshman, and is able to satisfy all 15 curricular requirements & graduation requirements no later than the spring semester of their senior year.
To be admitted as a high school concurrent you must:
• Have participated in the ACT or SAT.
• Have at least an ACT composite of 20 or SAT of 940 (Critical Reading & Math) as a senior (12th grader) or have at least an ACT composite of 23 as a junior (11th grader).
or
• Have a GPA of 3.0 from a state–accredited high school AND rank in the upper 50% of your class as a senior (12th grader). Juniors (11th graders) are required to have a 3.5 GPA.
• Have a written recommendation from your high school counselor and a written permission from your parent(s). Click here for Permission Form. If you have earned less than 24 college or university credit hours, you must also submit your high school transcript. You may have to take College Placement Tests and/or remedial courses if you have not:
• Successfully completed a college–level English or related course, an ACT English of 19, or an SAT Critical Reading of 460
• Successfully completed a college–level Math or related course, an ACT Math of 19, or an SAT Math of 460
• successfully completed a college–level History, Psychology, Sociology, Government, or related course, an ACT Reading of 19, or an SAT Critical Reading of 460
• successfully completed a college–level Lab course or an ACT of 19
