Certiport presents the 2008 Worldwide Competition on Microsoft

Office The Certiport 2008 Worldwide Competition in Microsoft Office has been a great tradition and we are excited to kick off our sixth year. We are anticipating over 100,000 participants in 128 countries and invite your test candidates to join the competition while increasing the value and awareness of Microsoft Office certification exams.

This year we have a few changes to the Competition; please read below and visit http://www.officecompetition to see a complete list of the official rules, participation requirements, frequently asked questions, prize packages, and promotional resources.

The Competition will begin on Monday, November 1, 2007 and end on Thursday, May 15, 2008.

Any student age 14+ years old may participate in the competition by taking an eligible Microsoft Office certification exam at a Certiport Testing Center.

There will be two Worldwide Final Exams and Champions:

Microsoft Office Specialist : Word 2003
Microsoft Office Specialist : Excel 2003

The following exams are eligible for the competition:

  • Any Microsoft Office Specialist Word Exam (all versions)
  • Any Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Exam (all versions)
  • Any Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Word Exam
  • Any Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Excel Exam
