The 2005 Texas Oklahoma Research Undergraduate Symposium (TORUS) was held on Saturday, February 26th at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. Our keynote speaker was Dr. Paul Goodey from the University of Oklahoma. Talks were contributed by undergraduate students on mathematics-related topics, and we had a panel discussion on the graduate school experience.

The 2006 TORUS conference will be held Saturday, February 25th on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. Undergraduate students at all levels are invited to discuss their work. The symposium is open to anyone interested in undergraduate mathematics. We hope to provide as many students as possible with the experience of giving mathematical presentations.
